Safety for self-driving cars – unlocked in San Francisco!
Summer is starting with another gathering of system safety and functional safety experts - this time focused on self-driving vehicles! Of course, safety culture and know-how as key building blocks are simply unavoidable. Therefore, the University of California San Diego Extended Studies together with NIT Academy as key proponents of the topic are attending and sponsoring this year's OSS-5 conference on Functional & Operational Safety Systems for Highly to Fully Autonomous Vehicles, happening 28-30 June in San Francisco, at Hyatt Regency San Francisco Downtown Soma.
At the UCSD Extended Studies booth, our two expert functional safety instructors will be attending: Prof. Dr. Bogdan Pavkovic and Prof. Dr. Milan Bjelica. It would be a chance to discuss firsthand all the requirements and pitfalls in functional safety designs and the required processes for autonomous vehicles. All the details about our key offering of upskill programs for Functional Safety for Automotive (FSFA certificate and FSEA certificate) will be laid out - with the possibility of running a custom upskill program for companies, tailored to suit their specific requirements.
