safeXloop and RoboBus

safeXloop helps low-speed autonomous shuttles and delivery vehicles (up to 30 km/h) address safety and compliance through engineering blueprints and an integrated safety copilot. Together with PiX Moving, we now also offer turnkey RoboBus deployment, from the first demo and site preparation through commissioning, safety planning and supervised daily operation.

Number of electric fully autonomous driverless shuttles is rapidly growing. Last-mile transportation, short-range passenger shuttling, logistics within an enclosed ground, parcel delivery - are among the most common use cases. Although these vehicles mostly work just fine, their safety is not easy to prove nor certify. This is where NIT steps in.

safeXloop is an original approach to making any robotic EV/AV shuttle acceptably safe. Starting from safety process documentation and design blueprints, to hardware and software safety functions available off-the-shelf, our solution builds on top of your existing design to close the safety case and rapidly enable it for the market rollout.

Alongside these safety components, our turnkey RoboBus deployment offering covers the vehicle and site journey end to end. Working with PiX Moving, NIT coordinates deployment engineering, safety and approval planning, on-site validation and the transition to supervised operation.
